Plasma cutting is the process of cutting soft metal sheets of steel by using a concentrated plasma arc which is formed between the electrode and the workpiece. The optimum thickness of a sheet cut by plasma technology, which allows to obtain good edge quality, depending on the cutting current, ranges from 6 mm to 40 mm.
